Project Overview
Bookaroo is a comprehensive property management platform tailored for hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals. The system was designed as a 360° management tool, enabling staff and management teams to operate with ease across all departments—from reservations and housekeeping to maintenance and guest communication.
This personal case study was fully developed and designed by me, including UX research, UI design, and interface prototyping. The focus was on building intuitive workflows that simplify hotel operations while maintaining a sleek, modern, and professional interface.
My Approach
My goal was to create an experience that is user-centric, scalable, and visually cohesive across modules. I began by mapping out the ecosystem of a hospitality business and breaking it down into department-specific use cases. Then, I designed interconnected flows to unify those into a single source of truth through a well-structured interface.
Every feature was carefully crafted to align with how different roles (e.g., receptionists, managers, cleaners) operate daily. I explored modern calendar interfaces, task statuses, dropdown filters, and timelines to optimize clarity and usability.
